Bose Center Channel Speaker Install
I did this a couple of months ago. It sounds AWESOME. I was skeptical about using the origonal speakers but they sound great, especialy after I ran the auto-eq and auto time allignment with the pioneer head unit. DVD-AUDIO sounds unreal, along with movies.

I used an actual Bose double cube speaker(got off Ebay) for the center. I pulled the emblem off and moved it to the front on the grill. It looks off because the stock head unit opening is NOT uniform, but it is mathmaticly centered. I wanted a REAL center channel, not the cheesy little ones that Pioneer and other companies make. Plus I put over 150 watts RMS to each of the speakers so there is plenty of clarity. The amps that are in the head unit won't cut it if you want the sound quality. Now I just have to work out all the damn rattles!
