blue leds above license plate.

is it illegal to have blue bulbs above the rear license plate instead of the white?

i'm fairly sure it is. my white leds are bright, so if a cop got behind me at night, i'm sure he's notice super bright blue leds. modifying exterior lights all depends on how strict the cops are in your area.
