Well I have run through the searched posts on this topic, and am still lost. I want to hook up sat radio without all the crap all over the place. I am hoping that this can be done with a blitzsafe for my car. I have a 03 CLS w/ navi. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Pics, part numbers, etc?

I did a blitzsafe install about 2 yrs ago on my 2002 TL-S with navi and 6-disc in dash changer.

I'm a newbie to this stuff, and it really wasn't too difficult. I've never had a problem since the install and my Sirius sounds great.

The instructions I followed were by someone installing a Dension Ice Link adapter, however the blitzsafe is very similar. The pics should be helpful.

Do you remember the model number of the blitzafe unit you used? I read somewhere that the TL and CL use a different blitzsafe unit but I dont see why. Appreciate the insight.

 

I can save you some time and money on this. I have the same car as you with Nav and the blitzsafe model [Hon/Aux DMX v.2x] is definitely not the one you want. The plug is way different. Ours uses an older plug. I was gonna try the other Hon/Aux Dmx v.1 but honestly I am already out the money on the other adapter. I will prob put it in the blackmarket as it works with newer acuras with navigation y adapter.
