I have the XM commander and want to connect it "direct in" to the 2001 stock Bose unit. If I use the Blitzsafe Adapter, does it still allow me to use my stock 6-CD-in-dash player? I can't find any info on that in the search.

Is the Blitzsafe Adapter still the way to go? Thanks.

 

Yes, the blitz adapter will do exactly what you want. It will not interfere with the in dash 6 or anything else. All you do is plug it in, hit the CD button twice, and you are in AUX mode.
