I sell 'em both.

I hear Sirius has better music selected. Sirius has NPR.

They both have Dan Patrick.

I like the XM Commander better than I like the Starbase.

But I haven't tried Sirius. Anyone who hasn't tried both doesn't have a place to answer this question from, do they?

I have both and they both have the same news/sports talk (DP) without a doubt the music is better on Sirius!

I'm in NC, does one have a better coverage area for Southeast US?

I have both and think the programming is pretty much a wash.

To me the sound quality is much much better on XM. It is hard for me to listen to Sirius. This is particularly true on talk programming.

Both my systems are wired directly into the head unit. I have had the opportunity to A /B check the Sirius NPR with terrestrial FM on the same programming. The difference was huge.

i have sirius in the house (courtesy of my dish) and xm in the car. i can always find music i like on both. jazz selection is better on xm. soundwise, xm is not compressed, ans sirius ha some compression. having heard both, my vote goes to xm. although you can't go wrong with either. jps
