Best Sub for e6450 amp

Dear All,

Purchased a Milano Red 2006 TSX, no NAV. I want to add a sub. Got a sweet deal on eBay for a JL Audio e6450 6-channel amp and an AudioControl LC6. What would be the best sub to match with this amp?

well its a six channel amp that is made for interior speakers. But u can bridge 4 of the channels to a dual 4 ohm subwoofer.

Channels 1 and 2 are fronts. Channels 3 and 4 are rears. Channels 5 and 6 are sub.

You can bridge 5 and 6 to get about 150 watts rms on a single subwoofer. I would recommend a single JL Audio 10W0 or 10W1V2. Both of these subwoofers would make good use of that 150 watts.

The LC6 will boost your input signal also. This means that your amplifier output will be a bit higher than the paperwork says.

Thanks - New info

Thanks for the feedback folks...I appreciate it.

Since my post I scored one of the JL Audio high output enclosures configured with an 8LW7. I know, I know, my amp does not have enough power to push that sub.

I couldn't pass it up though. I got a sweet deal on it and...its got a red front...just like my car.

Okay so until I can get another amp, any suggestions on how I can make the most out of the setup. I'm not yet changing the factory speakers. Since they are very low wattage, can I borrow any power from there?
