i just got a new one in last night and it is absolutely amazing, puts my ipod to shame (in terms of features and sound)
i audio 4 jetaudio the cw300 looks pretty cool too
but the one i just got sounds 10x better than my ipod, i couldn't believe the sound coming out of this little thing and is like 1/4th the size...it was definetely more $$ (than some other flash players) but considering it came with really really nice cresyn earphones, a case, arm band and neck strap it was worth it, also it came with free batteries and charger, it plugs in as a usb and can be seen immediately like it is a drive, super easy to use, less than 5 minutes from opening box i was listening to downloaded music, and it doubles as a storage drive straight out of the box
on top of that it directly records to mp3 from a line in on the top, so i can plug it into my stereo or from fm radio and record songs i like straight to mp3, i almost got the iriver but i am so happy i didn't, this thing is smaller and has so much better options, $250 shippped but it also is 512 mb
good luck beet, seem to always be on the same page as you electronics wise...

I called a friend of mine who had the samsung yepp I posted above ^ and he said he doesn't use it anymore so he would just give it to me
so I guess I don't need to buy anything...thanks for the info though

I'm not a fan of the ipods.
and an ipod isn't a small mp3 player anyway.
slight change of subject:
anybody know a good mp3 player that does wireless fm reception to the car radio? i've got a navi system and it's just to much hassle to swap out the stock head unit and navi to get mp3 playing capabilities. i've seen the sirius do this, you just tune it to 88.7 fm and you get the signal.

any mp3 player can do this, you just need to buy a wireless fm adapter...
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...992262-5729644
but it is possible to hardwire an mp3 player into the stock stereo system. do a search for 'blitzsafe adapter' and you will find all the info you need.
forget about using that fm receiver, i've been reading about the blitzsafe adapter.. wow, this thing sounds completely bad ass, the install seems tough though because i've got big hands and am not real familiar with removing the molding around the head unit, etc..
after doing some more reading, i've definetly going to do this. where can you get the 1/8 inch line out to rca output cable from that would connect your mp3 player to the blitzsafe? anyone know?
I got one from www.belkin.com
