i am looking for a new/slightly used 500x1 @ 4 ohms rms RMS amp
i can get a RF 1000.1 for 270 shipped but it is slightly used
i am also looking at PPI

not really sure which direction i want to go in

(btw they will be for 10" JL w3's in the HO enclosure)

nah.. ppi's ain't no joke!! well at least they use to be good. ppi's use to be made in the US...thats when their amps were good but now, its made in china or something like that. phoenix gold amps are good also though..

 

PPI used to be good. I would go for the PG though. They are great amps!

could i get a PG for around 400 for the wattage i want ?

 

I can get the high wattage PPI, PG, and RF for $350 slightly used...I'd go with RF...of the 50+ types I've installed they've never failed me...but all the mentioned brands are great
