My battery died and i got a new one. But now when I enter the code, the radio doesnt want to take it. I called the dealer and verified that I'm putting in the right code, and I definitely havent switched out the HU.

What could I be missing? My cd changer is already busted so I'm not spending any money on getting it serviced. Its going to have to be a straight replacement or maybe an aftermarket setup. Any suggestions on which route to go?

I'm guessing a 2nd gen TL.

 

disconnect the radio antenna and try the code again work for me.

 

try disconnecting your battery, waiting a few seconds then reconnecting it. after that type in your code. it worked in my 1999 cl.

 

try pushing the numbers hard and leave a few seconds between each number. my radio says incorrect code if i put it in too quickly for some reason
