I've been using blitzsafe in my '03 TL for quite a while now. I've always enjoyed using my iPod in my car, but now that I've become more reliant on my Android phone, I want to use that in my car as well. Here's my question. We all know the blitzsafe converts into a male iPod connection, which just plugs up to any iPod/iPhone/etc device.

If I were to purchase an iPod female to basic 3.5mm jack, shouldn't work the same? I want to just use the adapter I link below to convert that blitzsafe male iPod connector to a 3.5mm jack that I can plug up to my normal phone instead of my iPod

Should work for just sound since the adapter doesn't allow HU ipod control anyway. I don't think it will charge it.

 

well ya...didn't think it would charge via a 3.5mm
