MMBLD-1 18-Volt Line Driver & Car Audio iPodŽ and MP3 Interface

The MMBLD-1 is also an iPodŽ/MP3 input interface, but it adds an 18-Volt Balanced Line Driver added for multi-amp'ed HIfonics audio systems. Our MMBLD-1 has all the MM-1 features PLUS is able to put any Hifonic's amp equipped with a Balance Line Input, into virtual overdrive with its 18-Volts of audio signal.

My amps accept this I dont know what is gained. Clairity,or Volume.IT SAYS IT WILL PUT MY AMP IN VIRTUAL OVERDRIVE....

I'd say it's a waste of money. Just one more electronic device to add noise into the system and with no beneficial gain.
