Hello everybody, new acura owner here. I just bought myself a 2003 tl type s and i am loving it. I went on a local buy and sell website and bought myself a moderately cheap pioneer deck and just went through all the headache installing it and over riding the amp to have the sub work with it. With the stock bose deck that was in it had great quality audio but i just couldnt live with just radio. So after i installed my deck, the quality of the sound is okay but if i put it too loud the bass either is too high and the audio sounds like its under water or its just terrible quality. Kind of broke now so aftermarket speakers arent really an option for me. Ive read up on it and people say the aftermarket deck will give it better quality but not in my case. Ive fiddled with the settings and i have it at an okay quality but its still not up to par with the stock deck. Can somebody please give me suggestions? Thank you

you bypassed the amp what did you expect?! Go back to stock to save money until you can do it properly
