AVIC-N2 Bypass Help, not install help, just info

Question AVIC-N2 Bypass Help, not install help, just info

Ok guys, I just bought my AVIC-N2 and want to know everything there is to know about this whole motion lock. So here are a few questions

1. If i bypassed it to the parking brake, can I watch movies while driving
2. Is the only thing it keeps you from doing is watching movies and using Navi at the same time?
3. Even when not watching a movie can i use all the features of navi while driving?

any help with me on this would be great...thanks guys

No, the gyro knows that you're moving.

OK, thanks b/c in some of the other forums it made me believe you cannot search for address or any points of interest like a restaurant

I wouldn't be too sure about this either. I also heard in many places that you don't have all the navi functions while moving.

We need a current N2 user to confirm this.

that's what i heard to and if so then that sucks....geez we need some really tech people come come up with some software fixes quick

If you don't have the ebrake bypassed in the N1, you cannot do address and POI searches. I'm not sure if the N2 is the same as my N1 though
