any thoughts about putting this in the compartment above the ashtray. will it fit? has anybody tried? i know it's a double din player.

 

I don't think the space is tall enough, and remember that the screen slides down for disc slot access, and I think it would then be hitting the NOT AN ASHTRAY.

I like that unit, but I just don't see it... sorry.
