Aux input

Is there anyway to add an aux input on a 1998 acura cl?

I was reading there was a connector in the trunk or something?

btw the h/u is a bose.

Your deck has a Honda CD changer plug on the back. You can buy an Aux IN piece or an iPod adapter that will plug right into that changer plug.

Soo im just thinking of doin an after market alpine headunit.

Will the bose stuff work with the aftermarket alpine headunit?

How hard are they to wire up?
I wanna keep the steering wheel controls too.
Can I do that?

A new stereo would not be hard for you to wire up. However, I would recommend taking it to a professional that you trust. The TL is a difficult car to take apart and put back together correctly. You can keep the steering wheel controls if you purchase an adapter for them. Peripheral Electronics makes a piece called the SWI-ALP. Only some Alpine decks can support this though. So, ask the right questions when buying the deck. The new line of Pioneer decks might be a better fit for you and your steering wheel controls. Look into both Pioneer and Alpine.
