Question AUX connector Dissected (one question)

so i found this on other threads

and was looking to take it apart and use some connectors from it i have come up with this
1 power
2 remote wire
3 cable that controls track/disc change (based on the BUS word in the desc)
4 ground wire
5 positive right
6 positive left
7 NADA

8 NADA
9 another cable that controls track/disc change
10 yet another cable that controls track/disc change
11 ground wire
12 NADA
13 negative right
14 negative left

now with that in mind all i want to use is the audio and power connections (IN BOLD) i understand the audio connectors and the ground but my question is about the power cable.

how much power is being pushed out of this wire?
I no longer have my TSX so i cannot tell by using a meter could someone out there maybe check this for me?

i'm guessing that it pushes 12V seeing how the entire car runs on 12V but

thanks

I'd imagine the HU routes the same supply levels to the stock amp, antenna, and AUX. I'll need to check my notes at home to be sure, but I think the stock amp receives 14V from the HU via the 'sys acc' line and power line.

But, without a signal sent over the bus to enable first the CD-C port and secondly the audio, you're not going to get anywhere by just piping audio into those lines. You need something to interface properly w/ the can bus.

Take a voltmeter to your battery. On a decent battery, you'll get about 14.4v. Its designed to make sure your components always see at least 12v, even when the power drops a little.

I'm guessing the alternator is charging the battery up to ~14V. That ~14V then gets routed through the electronics.
