I picked up my '05 TSX less than a week ago and I'm already missing my old audio system. I'd like to transplant as much of it as possible except the HU. I'd like to keep the stock look as much as possible.

I've read a bunch of posts and all have been great suggestions. I'll probably upgrade most of this as time goes on, but the budget is tight right now. I'll have more funds in 6-8 months.

Here is what I can salvage out of my old car:

Soundstream 405s
2x 6.5 Diamond Hex (old style with black cones, not the shallow white ones) Seperates
2x 6.5 (i think) Polk Audio Momo (tweeter in the center)
8" PPI in a sealed box.

I'm an install noob. I've installed door speakers, and replaced a head unit or 2.

I have some questions before I get these installed in a pro shop, or beg a friend that lives out of state.

Any ideas if these speakers will fit at all? I'd like the Diamonds in front and the Momos in back (yes, I'm a rear fill loving communist).

Is it even remotly possible to consider using the stock speaker wire?

I don't want anything super fance, but I don't want a crap install with wires hanging out. Any estimate on how much this should cost?

How deep are those diamonds, from the back of the edge of the frame? Same with the Momos?

Was the 8" in a hatchback? Worried about being loud enough in the TSX...

It is remotely possible to use the stock speaker wire. I am using it, but Derrick upgraded his and is sold on the benefits.

A lot of the cost depends on what they charge for the OEM HU interface... ~$250-$400 is my guess, depending on what you get cosmetically.
