Audio Question

Is there any way to custom install 3 12's in our truck with out sacrificing our spare? or 3 12's and a wall amp?

what do you all think about JL, MB Quarts, Pioneer audio in general? How would you all rate them? ex. JL > Pioneer > MB etc

IMO sub-wise JL's have the best bass, for some reason im dont like pioneer, MBQ are really nice mid and high speakers and a sub would complament a whole system but not seperate, IMO, if you want 3 subs look into kicker solo barics, they require the least amount of airspace. i am goin with 2 JL 10w3 or 10w6 in a bandpass

I'm planning to go with 3 12's JL's to be different, helps when entering car shows. However, I might have to go with 2 12's sub set up cause I definitely need the spare.

So there's no way to fit 3 12's JL's into our truck without sacrifricing the spare?

So if 2 12's do not fit have you thought of going with 3 10's?

with the right sizing i think 3 JL 12s will fit, the box can be longer in the back and fill up as much space as it can, from the floor all the way to the top of the trunk, it would fit

If you want to save space and want 3-10's then get boston accoustics.
3 10.5" pros sealed require 1.5 cubic feet total. If you go for a
vented box, you'll be more than doubling your size.

Boston 10.5 pro
0.5ft³ (14 liters)

Kicker Solobaric S10L7
0.66ft³ (18.7 liters)

Personally (just my opinion), I don't think JL, MBquart or Pioneer are very good.

I'm doing a custom fiberglass box with 3 JL 12 w6's using about 3/5 of the trunk space...if you want to use only the room past the wheel wells go with 3 JL 10w6's, or 3 Kicker L7 solobarics...those will fit. If you want to talk with me about my install which sounds similar to yours my email's Austin519@aol.com...

Dunno if anyone cares...but I'll be selling my subs soon...2x JL 12w6 + neon rings and inverter + box (that is if you want the box I had them in). The subs are under warranty, were used only for SQ...and come with the boxes, plastic, warranty cards, birth certificate...everything. And I take damn good care of my stuff.

So what will I end up bumping with? 2 JL 12 w7's.
