I just went through three stereos in one day. After installing them, the FM radio works just fine and I get sound from all speakers. However, I don't get any sound when I play a CD or use the AUX input with an mp3 player. Any info would help. thanks

 

Are you using amps or all factory stuff other than the head unit? If you are using amps, it may be you have the remote wire hooked up to the power ant. wire. That would be why you only get sound from radio. Probably blue wire and blue/white wire might be crossed.

 

i'm using the Bose system for everything and just swapped out the headunit only. everything is stock except the HU. i've heard of issues because of the Bose system, but i want to know if i could set up an audio system that way and maybe install an aftermarket amp and subwoofer using the aftermarket HU.

 

You should post what year / model car you have, and any more specifics so people can better help you, such as what exactly you're trying to do, equipment you're using, etc.
