Are there any guides or instructions..(I HAVE LOOKED IN THE STICKY)..FOR 2g TL (non-navi) sub+amp installations using (STOCK) HU?

-I want to add some base..do the work myself..but am new to wiring in my TL.

All youre going to do is use a Line out converter. You can get the signal off the rear sub in your deck(if you have one) or the rear speakers. If you have a rear sub i would disconnect it and just run the one(s) you plan on adding.

You can use the remote turn on for the stock amp(assuming it is back by the trunk). I have an RL so mine was in the rear. The installation of a LOC is basically standard.

There are various threads that have the information in them on how to install subs in a TL.

 

don't use a pos loc

99% of them have a limited bandwidth.

 

can i ask you are you hooking up an amp as well? cause i would like 2 know what i need to run an amp?
