Anyone used Audiobahn equipment?

Saw a setup in an S2000 Sunday. The amps looked awesome, but the subs weren't hitting at all. Of course a convertible isn't the best car for demonstrating bass.

Yeah, audiobahn's amps kicks ass BUT their subs dont hit at all. My friend has a setup with their amp that kicks out 560 @ 4 ohms. It is connected to a boston 12.5LF which is their ProSeries line 12 incher. Man, that thing hits hard as shit. When I get around to souping up my '65 'stang I am going to go all Audiobahn for the amps and all boston for the lows, mids, and highs.

Hope this helps. Any q's?

Who says those subs dont hit hard? Those are really good subs, and do hit hard. The problem probably lays in the install. He probably does not have those subs in the right enclosure.

Spiro,
I have to disagree with you about this. I heard them this afternoon at a car stereo shop. They have 2 10" in a sealed box. They suck
The amps looks so attractive. Too bad, I just bought the Kenwood.

A lot of people rave about those subs. Install is 90% of the sound.

I must agree, the audiobahns I heard really sucked. They were on a project car at one of the shops out here running from two Orion HCCA amps. They had some of the worst sound quality I have ever heard. I don't know which model they were, they had an aluminum cone with a large surround.

Now is it the amps driving the subs that suck? Or is it the subs themselves? I read a review on one of those Audiobahn amps recently and the results didn't look all that great.

I dont know the work of the shops around, but it must not be great at all. I use there products, and for the money they are very good. And I will tell you this, my friend has a audio shop and he pushes them very hard in sales.

My car and all his work will drill. They hit very hard and it has to do with the set up. If is a suck setup or box, you can bet it is not going to hit.

But, my car and all my friends car sound great.
