Anyone familiar w/the alpine mobile hublink?

Anyone familiar w/the alpine mobile hublink?

some places state it will only work w/the nokia 6310i...while other places state the link will work w/any nokia gsm phone


does anyone know the real deal or if there are any plans to make this work w/other nokia phones?


thanks...i'd really appreciate any info

The hublink is specifically made for the 6310, I have personally installed it and it works very well. I did try it with another model nokia (can't remember off hand) and it did not function correctly.

Yeah I have it, Ron is the one that did the install, it will work with certain models of Nokia Phones, mainly designed for the features of the 6310i. Go to Nokia site, search under MobileHub and you should find a list.

i saw that list before and realized all these phones were gsm phones...i have a dual band gsm phone (nokia 6800) and thus was wondering if the hublink would work w/my phone...i have a feeling it will but i dont want 2 make a $300 mistake lol



btw, how do u like ur hublink? i.e. the features it provides etc

Works great, sound quality is great No echo.

The 6310i is an ATT exclusive. ATT GSM Sucks bad, so I went to a Nokia Forum site and had it unlocked and put it on Cingulars GSM and now i have no issues
