I tried to get one, but according to Verizon Wireless, they only make them for non-nav TL's. They said something about the nav being too complicated or something because of the extra wires in the car. Didn't make much sense to me, but who am I to argue.

I would check to see if they make it in the nav version, you may be out of luck too.

If they do make it, drop me an e-mail please, I'd like to get one too.

Well, I ordered one. My Acura dealer told me that was the bracket to get, this way there would be no holes drilled into the car.

I am going to have him (the dealer) install the phone. He says that if attaches to the radio, so I can't see where the NAV would enter into it.

I guess I'll find out....

What kind of phone do you have? - I'm working on a handsfree kit that is removable and flushmounts in the cupholder area. Burlwood and all...

Sounds interesting. It's just a Sprint Touchpoint 2200. It's not a standard like a Nokia...

I recieved the car bracket for mounting my cell phone in the TL-S. Sure enough, the documentation states that it is for "Acura TL (1999-2001) without GPS unit"

However, I went into the TL-S w/NAV and it fit just fine! It took about 2 minutes to install, that's it!

You can see the install document at:
http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/Adobe/AC-54-99.pdf

I will post a picture or two on the board when I get everything completed.
