my deck keeps gettin stuck and wont come out the dash. When is come out I have to slighty pull it for it to come out all theway. IT retracts normally though.

Is the unit in perfectly square? The problem is probably the rotary knob hitting, right? Usually this happens becuase the unit is slightly out of square

Its installed perfect and its not the knob. On the Right side of the deck thats where it starts hangin. Like today it did it all day and once today i came out all the way without any problems.
StreetEffect are u a ALpine dealer. IF so do u know when the new fantom face will come out and if they improved the track on it. I found out this other guy had one of those and he ripped the thing out the deck.

Check to see that where it is screwed into the car (ie the frame of the old radio) the screw isn't too tight...my CVA-1006 hung up the 1st time...it was b/c the screw was too tight and the face wouldn't make it by without touching it causing the sensors to stop the radio to avoid damage.

My new system now consist of.
Alpine CDA7897 HU
Alpine Type R components in the front doors
2 ways in the rear.
Fosgate power 550X to my mids and highs
Kicker solobaric 12 L5 in a slot vented box with power 550S power that. and stinger digital cap.

My amps are mounted to the side of the trunk where the jack use to be .
