You mean you wanna do both of what i asked?

1. i don't think you can play movie DVDs using the factory navi unit.
2. if you want to watch movies on your factory navi screen, you need a deck that plays DVD or install a DVD player and use either Dom's Nav2TV or NavTool's unit.

The converters are strictly "Video" converters. You need to think of it that way. The audio you need a adapter from what ever source you are playing the video/dvd from. Most units you can just ground the parking brake wire or whatever they use to prohibit you from using it while not driving.

All Navi converter let you play DVD an watch movie when you are driving. You just need to switch back an forth from Navi/TV. For the aftermarket unit you have make them work by using trigger switch or ground it to the brake.

If you buy aftermarket HU you will lose your Navi Sound. So now you have to learn how to retain your Navi sound. Below is link an DIY
https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/d-i-y-retain-your-navi-prompts-w-aftermarket-headunit-338089/

Navi Conveter $175-200
Blitzsafe $75-100
DVD Player $50-100
Total Amount $325-up
You can still add rear view camera

Name Brand DVD player $400++ (only better unit have rear view camera option)
Off Brand DVD Player $300
Radio Din kit Single $20 or Double Din $30-40
Total Amount $325-up

As you can see it's about the same amount. The only question is do you want 1 or 2 Screen in you dash.

Good luck Man

I'd rather have 2. Might as well upgrade your stock radio, which is the first thing you should do to the TL.
