CL Amp'd Emblems

Hey CL guys.

I just placed an order for 1997-1999, 2001-2003 CL emblems. The 2002, 2003 look like no problem. Will let you know once they are developed and tested.

Keep this thread in mind if interested. Also, check out the 3g TL thread about Amp'd Emblems. Some great pics and DIY stuff and comments. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...6#post11653756

Thanks,

Ampd

Hey Richard,

Right now we only do the rear emblems. With a different product in line for the front. There has been some interest with the front emblems, so it is on our list of testing and development. Right now the schedule is Lexus and the CL rear. Will post here when progress is made on any front emblems.

Thanks for your interest,

Ampd

Group buy for Amp'd Emblems

Hey Guys,

I am starting to get some msgs about group buys for Amp'd Emblems. As I previously stated, I will offer the following deal;

$77.76 per Amp'd Emblem + tax if applicable. ($24.95 discount. FL sales tax applies if you are a FL resident.)

Minimum order of 10 Amp'd Emblems.

Maximum order of 20 Amp'd Emblems.

Maximum of 2 Amp'd Emblems per customer.

All 3g TL Amp'd Emblems.

Interested individuals will email me at ampdemblems@aol.com with their email address and shipping and billing addresses, stating Group Buy in the email.

When at least 10 individuals are aquired, I will email the discount codes to the received email addresses.

Payment is made from the online store through paypal.

These Amp'd Emblems are sold in good faith to customers that agree to not resell them at a higher price.

This is currently a one time offer and is valid through March 31, 2010 or when 20 orders are reached, whichever comes first.

Thanks,

Ampd

Hey Shnee,

Thanks for the interest. I assume you are speaking of the CL. Will start testing and development probably in about a week or so. If successful, they will be available for sale immediately. Will post here and on the Facebook fan page as soon as progress is made.

Hey guys...just an update. I was worried maybe there would be issue with the led's in heavy rain etc. With shorting out or something. Well, happy to say...NO PROBLEMO! Work just fine...have had plenty of rain these days and the emblem still looks gorgeous.

What else you got going on the exterior of your car?
I personally think the white looks classy, but doesn't mean the blue won't either. I think for your color, white would compliment better. If anything I think blue would have been good for NPB.

Hey guys...though my knowledge of illuminating emblems is up there...my knowledge of these acronyms on paint colors is not up to your speed. So....DWB....the AM...is that the grey metallic? If so...no Blue Amp'd Emblems on that yet. A few on the silver. Rockstar....sorry...NPB....Black?? I think a red on black would look cool too. Sorry I cant provide more help! (Buy both ). Please tell me DWB...that Laurie got her Amp'd Emblem today?? The tracking number I have on this computer still says no info??!! Will be able to provide more info on Saturday...but I hope the point is moot by then.

AM=Anthracite Metallic--yes, it is the gray metallic color
NBP is black
Laurie said she did receive her emblem. We will be looking to install this weekend maybe. Will post pics of her red Honda emblem on the Redondo Red Accord.
Thanks again, Steve!

Yeah...sorry Steve...those are the paint codes. You think that's bad...go into the off topic wash and wax section and try and make heads or tails of all the acronyms for the detailing products. OMG...totally lost!

Anyway...PLEASE post of the red H on the honda...would love to see it!

that is a great question...
speaking of 1st Gens...I saw a 1st Gen RL on the highway last night...WOW...that thing was clean. I kept thinking that a nice blue or white amp'd emblem would look so amazing on that white pearl.

06 Honda Accord with red Amp'd emblem

Easy install. Emblem looks great.
Cameras suck at capturing the rich red LED color. My P&S made it look orange, kinda like Steve's avatar. Trust me, it is a deep red color and looks great on her Redondo Red Pearl paint.
Steve, great product, great packaging (even included the fishing line to remove the old emblem) and great service. We are very happy with the results. Thank you again!
Here is the pic:

Steve is a great person to deal with guys, at first i was also a bit skeptable about these but i thought i give it a shot and try it out. My rear emblems is kinda scratched up anyways so this is a great new mod. I bought the white LED one for my AM TL and wow they do look great. I will post some pics soon. Just awaiting other mods to come and install!

Testimonials

Hey Guys,

Just added a new page to the website with testimonials from customers. There have been many more comments online, but as of today, only customers testimonials are shown. Check them out.

For all of the customers that took the time to write them, I thank you! Thanks again for the 2 guinea pigs here for taking a chance and giving them a try. Namely, Rockyfeller and Rockstar143.

I truly appreciate the quality, detail, and expertise, on the comments, that all of you AZ members have provided.

Looking forward to making more of you happy customers.

Sincerely,
Ampd

Stupid question:
How does the emblem stay in the 2 holes? Is it a tight press fit? I'm worried about the stupid people in my area that try to pilfer other people & wondering if it could be ripped out with no tools?

i was thinking that to, but unlike the "acura" and "TL" emblem u can take those out without fishing line most of the time. I thought i can get away without hair drying the A emblem but its in there good. But once i remove the A emblem and cleaned the area up i installed the amp'd one in and it snaps in and you can hear it. Plus its using the factory double sided tape to hold it in and woolaa!

Thanks LT. Exactly! People....DEFINITELY use the hair dryer. Trust me.

Geezer, the bonus of the Amp'd Emblems is that when unlit, they are indistinguishable from a regular emblem. So unless someone knows you have it..knows your car....you wont have to worry. But yes, like anything, if some thief wants something, they will get it. They will however probably end up with an Amp'd Emblem that is broken and wont work. And if they try to send it to me for repairs....and one of you reports it stolen, they wont get it back!!

1G and 2G TL Amp'd Emblems

Hey Guys,

As requested, here is the deal with the 1G and 2G TL Amp'd Emblems. First, the years don't coincide with the generations. One part number crossed a generation and the other generation has 2 part numbers.

The years are 96-01 and 02-03.

The preliminary pricing follows the same structure as the other TL and CL models. The older ones, like the 1G CL, require more build time and therefore coincide with that range of pricing.

So, preliminarily, prices will be $99.95 for the 96-01, and $94.95 for 02-03.

Message me here, or the website, or start a thread (let me know what it is so I can follow it) if you are interested. I will upload data to the online store soon.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the interest,

Ampd

You've actually sold two emblems to Anthracite Metallic cars, that I'm aware of. But both of them were white LEDs. I wanna see blue on AM. Looks nice on the blue car, but I want to see my color. WWAAAAAAHHHH!

Kick butt...
Dude, you don't play...they ask...you deliver.

C'mon guys...let's get some more installed pics. Curious to see some of these colors on other colored TL's.

Subtle but classy mods are what end up setting us apart!
