Amp and Sup Plans, sound good?

im planning on getting a JL Audio 500/1 and a W6v2. I still have my stock system, and already wired the car w/ the Line-Out Converter. I am looking for quality sounds that does not shake the neighborhood, but can thump whne need be. I was also wondering what works best, ported or sealed? ive heard that sealed is more precise, but ported gives you more thump. thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. thanks!

Another thread going on discussing same thing.

Ported takes more space, but delivers more sound per watt.

Sealed takes less space, requires more power to get same spl. More expensive to get it right. (As I mentioned on the other thread, I'm getting ready to dispose of a woofer because it cannot handle a .85cf sealed enclosure, although it would have worked fine in a 1.5cf ported box).
