Amp and Speakers installed
Finally got around to working on my stereo this weeknd I still have to put most of the panels back together, but here's what i got so far.
I'm keeping the stock radio, bypassed the EQ a few month ago per IGGY's intructions..
Intalled front 6.5" component speakers. Had to make a 3/4" wood spacer ring so the speaker would fit. Just barely fits with about 1/8" left to spare before hitting the window.
Installed a 4 channel rockford amp, using two 2 channel DEI line output converters. So far i'm only using the front channels, since i havn't installed the rear speakers yet.
Sounds really good, loud and dynamic. Don't seem to have any noise problem, except a slight hiss which is only audible at VERY low volumes. Still have to find what's causing this. Can anyone suggest a way to figure this out?
It might be that the signal is too low out of the LOC's, because i didn't adjust them at all. I'll try that tonight. Also i'll try to post some pics..

What kind of speakers did you install? Asking b/c if the spacing that you have I don't want to get anything to deep, and with an eighth of an inch yours fit perfect.
