Amp question: EBC2?

Hello,

I currently have installed an MTX amp to power my subs that uses "EBC2" to connect to an after-market sub volume control. I'm looking to upgrade the amp. Do I need to find an amp with "EBC2" or is that just what MTX calls there output to the external volume control? All other audio is stock.

Thanks,

Joe

I know stereo shop sell those things. As far as I know they are universal. A lot of amps will come with one that connects with stuff that looks like telepohne wire. I think if you have an aftermarket bass control it should work. If you have an MTX control, you may have to buy an amp with the input for such a control. Any brand of amp should work, as long as it has the feature to add a bass contol.
