amp question for 01 cls

amp question for 01 cls

ok i am fairly new to the cl.. i have the pioneer 9300 head from my old ride that imma be installing, and i also got mbquart components, question is this; what would be the best 4 channel amp (separate amp from subs) to power the components? 100x4 or is that too much watts to each or not enuff?? if anyone can answer this i would greatly appreacitiate it

im pretty sure jl audio makes a very nice 4 channel amp, like 300/4...

Check out the JL Audio 500/5, it could drive your whole system. Your tweeter do not need as much power as your woofers, that is why I like the 500/5, your do paying for what you do not need.

If you get a quality amp, if you push 80-100 watts RMS to those quarts, they'll be JAMMING.

Something like PPI, Phoenix Gold, JL, Directed...etc. When you put TRUE power to those components, you don't need over 100 watts usually...even though those quarts tend to eat power.

And yes, depending on what sub in what type on enclosure you're looking at, a good 5 channel would save you some time/$ on install. Just don't plan to have alot of power to your sub/subs.
