amp mounting

amp mounting

is it okay to mount the amp directly to the chair? any opinions on this?

like the back of the rear seats? I personally don't ever bolt amps to car metal, but that's just me. Some amps you can do it.

yea to the back of the rear car seat exposed to the trunk. The amp is pretty moderately heavy

I put mine under the rear deck. It ventilates well and it's out of the way.

Or just get a board, throw some carpet on it and bolt to something more solid, then put the amp on it...I wouldn't bolt it to the seat....

mount to rear deck?

howd you manage to mount it to the rear deck? It seems like the mounting woudl be tricky. Also did you run the ground from the fuel injector or the top part of the trunk?

Sent you a PM...

I grounded the amp to the chassis left of the rear left seat bolster. It works, but it's not optimal.
