I know this will sound redundant, but i have searched and searched and cannot find a straight forward answer.

When using a line-out converter do I tap into the + & - leads right before they go into the stock sub or do I tap into them before the stock amp? If I tap into before the stock amp which wire is + and -. I am installing in the morning so if anyone can lend some help please do. Thanks.
