So i turned on the car today and no bass. About a week ago the LED power light burned out so im pretty sure its the amp, its about six years old, the sub only about two and its blown once so im pretty sure i didnt blow it again, cant mistake that smell. The Amp is a MTX 6500-d, got really good use out of it. 6 years, 3 cars, and 2 different sets of subwoofers. So my question is, should i try to get the amp fixed or just ante up and start saving up for a new one? The amp worked great and definitely gave the sub enough power. I might just try my hand and see what i can do with it, if its already broke anyway i dont think i can mess it up any worse.
