i am considering buying an amplifier. it is either between AudioBahn DUB8001 with 400 watts RMS, as some sites claim but it could vary and some have said that it could over heat.
my other amp could be a Profile HA1000 with 480 watts RMS, most good reviews.
the profile amp is about 10-20 dollars more. i was just wondering if anyone has used or heard of anyting with these amps and which one to choose. thanks guys!

i just got JL e6450 6-channel amp and they hit really hard

 

im powering 800 watt max/ 400 watt RMS subs.

i read good reviews on the profile HA1000 from crutchfield. i know they sell lots of audio/video stuff for home and mostly auto, so i guess they know what they are talking about. since they sell this amp there too, im guessing its a good product.

i read reviews on some random site that i was googling for the audiobahn DUB8001. a few said they they run hot even tho it has a fan. and i think 1 or 2 people said that it was good.

the profile amp has about 9 reviews and the audiobahn has about 5 or 6 reviews.

 

what price range you looking for?

 

the audiobahn amp is about 60-80 dollars or so, i forgot. i know the profile amp is 86 dollars exactly. i would like to get the lowest price possible. i was also wondering if you guys could recommend any amps that fit the watts that i need for around or lower then the price that i can find.

 

i am also looking at the VISONIK V208XT. i am not sure about the 400 rms watt rating for this amp. im not too sure about the off brands like pyle, MA audio, lanzer, legacy, ect... if anyone has any of these brand, tell me what you think. other than that, i am considering these three amps and am leaning most towards the profile amp since it has good reviews and is sold by crutchfield.

 

i just checked the visionik and i think it only has a 25 amp fuse. the profile amp has 2 x 30 amp fuses. this indicates the real output potential. so i think i am going to order the profile for 86 dollars shipped. any objections?
