Am I doing this right??
I did a search on fogs and got like over 80 links with no definate answer on this subject. So am asking for some help from the electrical gurus. I am in the process of getting a set of PIAA 510 but I want to use the original accord switch using all the PIAA wires.
The piaa has 3 wires coming out of the switch.
RED (+)
WHITE (signal)
Black (ground)
There are 5 prongs switch.
1. White/Blue - Ground side of indicator light (green light that shows fogs are on) (- ground)
2. Blue/Red - Power to passenger side footwell relay (+RED)
3. White/Red - Power from headlight switch (+White)
4. Red/Black - Power from taillight relay (+White)
5. Red - Connection to dash light brightness controller (no need)
So how would I go about hooking this up?? I kind of have an idea of doing it but just want to confirm.
I think I would combine wire 3 and 4 and hook up to the white wire,wire 1 to ground and wire 2 to the red one.
Am I doing this right??
