Alternator whining

I run a L7 sub and a 1000w amp, today my alternator started to whine..


is there any high output upgrades or am i stuck with oem amps

They sell rebuilt ones on ebay with higher amp outputs

Talk to Mechman, DC Power, etc. Cheap is not the way to be with your electrical system. Unless you want to be replacing amps and such, then don't cheap out. That being said, the YT might take care of your problem, but I wouldn't run it. Personally, I'd run an XS Power batt. You can get a D5100(R) for around the same price as a YT G34/78, but the XS will be a stronger batt.

wait, he can't put in a capacitor?

lol...just kidding.

Are you getting alternator whine thru the speakers or you actually hear it from the alternator?
