Alpine CDA -9835

i got alpine cda-9835. fuckin awesome headunit. made my system sound so much better and clear. im so happy with it.

but yah....the equalizer is so complicated. i couldnt even mess with it cuz i had no idea what it does.

any suggestions?

yah, i checked that out already but i still dont know what those things do on ipersonalize.

Yeah, I just got the same H/U myself. It's damn nice. I finally figured out the built in crossovers and some of the adjustments. I haven't messed with the ipersonalize yet, in due time I guess. I'm figuring out something new about this H/U everyday. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking at H/U's in this price range. It is far better than anything I've used before, including previous Alpine's, Kenwood Excelon, etc.

like to share what u've figured out if u dont mind? : )


btw: it seems like it doesnt like my old mp3 cds that use to played fine on my old cheap ass Jvc head unit. do u have the same problem?

Actually, I haven't tried any mp3 CD's yet. I'll make a point of doing that later today. The main things I've figured out are simply straight out of the manual, i.e., changing the Crossover settings, color settings, etc.

find the frequencies of your speakers, and set the crossover to cut off at those points. for eq...it's mostly your preference...try different widths as well as they will change the sound dramatically.
