Dude,

Where are the machine guns and missles?

What is all this stuff gonna run you? Do you have a Nav system? If you do...how does that effect your new system...since the Nav system "speaks" through the stock stereo system.

Damn Kenny, you better register your TL for the next HIN with all those mods.
BTW, the only thing you're missing now is the bathroom sink.

Yes Kenny, Binh has MA Audio amp and sub, they thump like crazy!

I'm about to get my stereo system finished tomorrow, finally! just adding a pioneer tweeter and a JL audio sub with a couple of neons.

does your decoder come with an EQ? If not, it would be good
to get. your system will sound even better if you get kickpanels.
and if angled properly, you will not need the center channel speaker.

Yep ..... I agree with Patrick. If I want the whole iceberg ... i'll be dead broke. How about another cap ..... and

Oh yah, im not sure if the decoder has the EQ built in, but will see, i might add one if neccessary. The only reason i get this decoder is for my DVD stuffs. which need Center speaker for AC3 sound ??? Am i wrong?

if you're getting the decoder mainly for DVD surround sound, then yes you will need a center channel speaker. DVD dialogue will come out of the center channel. BTW, where are you planning on mounting it? best place would be on the dash, but will require you to cut a hole - major modification dude (if you're plannin on selling your TL later, you have to think about the resale value - who would want a car with a hole in it?)

but if you're building a hi end stereo system (when designed and built properly) does not need a center channel speaker. it should create a "center channel" effect (what I mean by that is that the voice will sound like it is coming from the center even though there is no center channel speaker).

i gotcha about the hi end stereo without the need of the center channel. For now i might not do the center yet, but i will prewire it ready until i have more time to make my own center.

Im planning to make a small center channel enclosure which can be attached behind the rear view mirror. Im not going to cut my dash that's for sure
