i'm planning get new alarm system for the car because i don think stock is all that. i wanna get the compustar one with the pager and the autostart. for all you who have one how much did u guys pay for installation??

 

i got mine install for 450. it aight make u feel a little bit safer but ull notice that ur alarm will go off for no reason

 

compustar is overpriced garbage. Viper 880xp is better.

Just remind him if he does get the Viper, turn up the sensitivity.

 

why do you say to turn the sensitivity up. what is different about viper alarms that makes this necesary?

 

I prefer Code Alarm--- PC4100 or PC4200...anyone who's installed Code before can tell yah that the impact sensor on these alarms Rocks-----if not Code Alarm you can never go wrong with DEI (i.e. Python, Clifford--Matrix or regular, Viper, Sidewinder--etc,,etc, )

 

is there a way to add-on stuff to a TL factory alarm system, by any chance?

 

If there is, can someone tell what is possible to add-on?
