Alarm LED placement

For those of you with aftermarket alarms, where did you place your blinking LED light?

Thanks,

Jake (TLDaddy) and I both put aftermarket (Varad Hyperblue LEDs) in the sails on the doors.

These are the plastic traingles that cover the side mirror bolts.

I placed mine about an inch up on the side of the sail. You can drill a hole right through them and run the wire down into the door.

Sorry don't have any pics. Jake might.

The only reason I didn't do that is that I want people to know I have an aftermarket alarm. If I put in the stock locations, they might not think so and try to jack my car. Every little bit helps.

My Clifford LED/ Coded Valet Switch was mounted on the blank were the foglight switch would go. This is next to the sunroof & cruise control master control.

Yup, I did that too. I had my alarm installer install 3 Clifford LEDs: one in the factory location using the factory LED housing, and the other on the front passenger door (directly opposite to the factory housing, I had a hole drilled to custom fit a Clifford LED. This way, the LEDs on the doors are the same distance to the door frame. Trust me on this, it does not look wierd). Now when my alarm is armed, both LEDs light up and it is noticeable when you approach the car from the front or the sides. Reminds me of an airplane's flashing lights from its wings. The 3rd LED is on the front console just above and to the left of the AC/vent controls.
