hey everyone,
im wondering if it is possible to have a fold-out screen installed in the "not an asthray" area? kind of in an angle so that it can be easily seen and so that when it flips out, it wont be a pain in the ass near the shifter. i know it will be very close, but im willing to deal with it. is there room in that area to fit something like that? i mean behind the ashtray, or is there something behind in the way?

plz respond as im thinkin about gettin this done wednesday.

Ooops, you said in the "not an ashtray" area - It would have to be on a SEVERE angle to get it in there, and I believe the dash angles in too much to make it fit side to side.

If you are talking about a TSX, I think the shifter interferes as well.

 

how much could u just make a kit like that for?

 

yeah i have taken the shifter into consideration, and thats why i would like to have it mounted in an angle, it seems like it can be done, given when open it would completely cover the little storage compartment. mainly the only thing im worried about is wether ill be able to fit it in the "not an ashtray" area. by that i mean depth wise, is there anything behind that might not let the whole unit slide in?
