Aftermarket headunit and side view mirror?

Aftermarket headunit and side view mirror?
I switched out the stock headunit and the side view mirror stopped rotating down when I am in reverse. Is that suppose to happen?

if your mirror adjustment switch isn't in the middle between the left and right adjustment modes the mirror won't tilt down in reverse.

And it wasnt in the middle...Now it's working....
