Exclamation Aftermarket DVD - 2007 TSX Issue

I recently installed a nav-tv module along with a backup camera and DVD player in my 2007 TSX. I tapped the audio for the DVD player with the stock aux input, but now I am experiencing minor static and high-pitched, whizzing sounds. Is there any way to get rid of this sound or did I just make a huge mistake by tapping my DVD audio with the aux? If so, is there another method of connecting the audio? Sorry my a/v vocabulary is so limited haha

This is related to this thread, right?: https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/tsx-dvd-player-unique-setup-372749/

did you do a splice wires to add the audio to the stock aux, or did you run a cable to the stock 1/8" stereo mini slot? is the problem fixed yet?

one option would be to use a dedicated aux setup such as usa spec or dice, which will offer a nice clean input.

Yes, splicing into it is a BAD idea for 98% of people without a lot of experience at this. You will introduce noise this way unless you take care to make your connections properly, solder perfectly, and shield appropriately. I'm very handy with a soldering iron and I still wouldn't do that.

Try reverting it back to stock and running a cable to the aux jack to test. If its still bad, you've hosed your aux connection by introducing noise into it (permanently). If so, go get a dice or usa spec and have a nice no-splice line-in.

I have 2008 TSX, and I have no clue which AUX module should I buy.
I checked blitzsafe and PIE, I can't find any for 2007-2008.

I'm going to use this for navi-converter. Not just for Ipod.

Please, correct me once again before I order.
