I have a Pioneer P6500DVD as my head unit

I have 2 video selectors - so video selection is not a problem

I want to run my xbox, tv tuner, as well as I want to have an extra auxilary input where I can hook up the RCA from any source so I can get the sound to come out of my stereo

Unfortunately, I need to have an extra audio input to the head unit - DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY ADAPTERS OR HARNESSES THAT CAN DO SUCH A THING???

PAC and Soundgate and Peripheral each make one.

But if all your sources are A/V (that is, they each have both kinds of signal), it would probably be easier to keep them linked together with an A/V switcher from a usage perspective.

Does Pioneer allow you to control an external AV switcher with your HU?

 

Thanks elduderine...well Pioneer allows you to control one extra av input - therefore if I have a switcher for that then I can leave the HU on the extra input and switch using the switcher correct?

Which TV tuner are you running?
Did you get everything figured out?

 

TSX536...hmm not really...I am using the pioneer tv turner so that fits directly onto the HU - mainly what I need is to be able to use an additional source on top of the XBOX - like I want to mount RCAs where I can plug in a video camera or laptop and have it on the screens and have the sound come through the system...

 

Anyone with any suggestions??
