Adding sub with factory cd player????

is that possible to keep same headunit and add a sub???? if so, what do i need besides a sub and amp.

a LOC(line out converter) hook it up to the rear speaker or sub, and run the RCA to the amp, Do a search about 2 years back and theres a thread by Austin and he explains it all.
