Adding Sirius or XM

Hello Everyone,

I have a 2001 CL Type-S, I am looking to get satellite radio. I was curious if anyone has done this and kept the interior looking cool. Most satellite radio adapters are bulky looking. I am just looking for some ideas if there are any out there.

Thanks,
-Dennis

Some people installed the controller in the sunglasses holder. I think it was an XM.

Here's mine....

Wanted something that I could move from car to car. This serves the purpose. The bracket is from my Apexi VAFC. I made this a while back but decided to mount the VAFC in the sunglass holder.

Mounted onto the CD holder tray

Wires routed inside the cd tray for a clean look

I am using the PIE controller, which allows me to keep my Alpine external cd changer and also have the ability to add two more input devices. The controller is hidden on the ride side of the center console, under the carpet. The power is routed into the center console.

And yes, I can still get to the CD slot. I ended up mounting it a little higher up (don't have updated pics) + I have a 6-disk changer in the trunk which I use more often.

How the hell are you gonna use it if you put it in the armrest bin? Lift up the armrest everytime you wanna find a new station? My antenna is under the back deck where my OEM subwoofer used to be. I have a 99 TL, we get a sub in the back parcel shelf.

yeah i'd rather do that i hate the way the XM delphi looks... i only listen to 5-6 stations so i'll just program the presets...

i kinda liked the idea to put it where the sunglasses holder is hmmmmm
if i can make it flip out like that???
