Adding an mp3 player to a 2005 navi TSX using XM signal

Hi, I have a 2005 naxi TSX and would like to be able to connect my creative mp3 player so that I can control is using my navi screen. I got the idea of tapping into the XM signal from other threads here but would like some advice or specific instructions regarding how to go about doing this. I don't care about using the XM radio but I just want to use that line if there is no other way to connect an mp3 player to my 2005 TSX without buying another $100 piece of equipment.

I'd just like advice on this matter since I am not quite sure why this has to be so complicated since the 2005 TSX supposedly has an AUX input.

Thanks in advance and sorry if I'm duplicating things already discussed, I'm just a little confused as to how the whole procedure works (I'm not very knowledgeable in car audio).
