Can I add a sony 6 disc changer or any kind of changer to the factory head unit? I know about the change over plug. Im just wondering if any changer will do. Will the remote on the steering wheel still work also ?

 

You can add a Alpine Changer with blitz connector. If you intergrate with your head unit all stock features will still work. Do a search on changers and you'll get complete info.
