is there a page that has stock acura./Honda audio systems breakdown for each year model?
I'm trying to see if theres an oem acura/Honda amp that I can use in a tsx that has same amount of speakers but a bit more power

04-08 tsx has front6.5 rear door 6.5 and rear decklid 6x9 and tweets on the dash that are tapped off the front speakers.

so I'm looking for a system that has 6 speakers or 4 speakers and a subwoofer
or even 6 speakers and a subwoofer( I can add a small sub in the trunk)

TL system has midrange speakers in the dash so I cant use that
I can use a Honda element amp but not sure if it will be an upgrade or not( don't know where to find amp specs)

as stated; the TSX amp is special via J.Kelley

PLUS, he has all the components a la capacitors, etc. HE's the one to talk too.

the phantom amp is a nice idea but I'm not gonna pay over 300 bucks when I can buy a clarion 5 channel amp for 100 bucks that has much better output and onboard crossover and gain...
I own one already just don't want to use it for this car. since its overkill for stockish speakers
I'm using speakers from kia rio that have neodymium magnets and are much better sounding than stock Honda speakers belive it or not.
its a noticeable increase in bass response compared to any Honda base system

 

Without sounding stupid, have you thought about a second-generation TSX amplifier? I have one laying around in the garage that I took out when I did my system years ago.

 

I'm considering everything. how many speakers does it have and where are they located?

its not very clear if the standard system has the center dash speaker or not
as far as I can tell it has front door, rear door, rear deck lid speakers and rear deck lid sub and a center dash speaker( but I cant tell if its for els system or all systems)

 

Front doors, rear doors, subwoofer. If you include the tweeters it makes it 7 speakers total. No center
