Hey Im plan to get DEI Viper 791XV 2-Way Security w/ Remote for my 00 TL. All I need to know is do my model need ACURA REMOTE START KEY BYPASS or it called the The 555H Honda/Acura immobilizer bypass module integrates into the wiring for the Honda/Acura immobilizer anti-theft system to allow remote start capability while still allowing normal function of the factory immobilizer anti-theft system---------->Whats that I am not good at this.Thankz

 

i used the 556-u made by DEI. the downside of this bypass for most people is it requires a second key to be hidden with in the dash of the car, but it is the most reliable one i have used at my shop as far as immobilizer bybass's go (to be fair i haven't used the 555h before)

To answer your question though, the one i would suggest using of the two you noted is the 555H. It is supposed to be highly reliable and over cheaper than the 556-U (i only used it b/c it ended up being free for me)

 

THe 555H has worked great for me.

 

555h is what you should get. I got it for like 35 bucks at sound advice. It even worked after my battery was disconnected.

 

All the U's do the same thing and will work, only for certain cars different models have different options. OUr car it doesn't matter
